How does it work?

HYROX is 8 × 1 km runs with a station after each. The tool accounts for your pace, how much it drops when tired, average station times and transitions (Roxzone).

What is an average HYROX time?

Most Open athletes finish between 1:15 and 2:00. Elite athletes go under an hour. In your first race, finishing is the goal.

How accurate is this estimate?

It’s an estimate based on average station times and the slowdown of running when tired. Your real time depends on fitness, technique and pacing. The best test is a race simulation.

How can I improve my HYROX time?

The biggest wins: practising running when tired, technique on stations like Sled Push and Wall Balls, and faster transitions (Roxzone). We work on all of these in our HYROX classes.
